LIBERTY'S HOME PAGE

I'm not going to get into putting down a bunch of organized stuff with a lot of details here; at least not for now. I'm sure I'll change and add to it as things come to me. I will probably use some of these pages for now to load some pictures to share with family and friends, and tell a little bit about the things we did in the year 2000.

It sure seems like we did a lot this year although I'm not sure how we did it. And I must have taken about a thousand more pictures I guess. Not sure. Never counted them. We did have some fun though, when we could find it, in the midst of some tough times and hard work.

As I look back over the past year it seems that it's gone very fast. Last year I made a New Year's resolution, something I do not normally do. It was that I would be out of here by this New Year. Well maybe not quite, but it looks like it could be close. During that time I have become, as many of you know, obsessed with the political climate of our nation, I've spent a lot of time traveling both for work and play, and done some reading. Of course the reading is nothing new. I read the books of the LEFT BEHIND series and
have thoroughly enjoyed them and recommend them highly. And of course, I have finally taken up the computer, and I'm glad that those of you who knew me before are finding it so amusing. I like my new toy. So? I've become way too serious!
This year coming up I look forward to change, although with some apprehension. I am sure that my faith will once again be put to the test. I am equally sure that it will carry me through.

WE DON'T REMEMBER DAYS, WE REMEMBER MOMENTS.

"Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute; if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things."
Phillipians 4:8

"Only by learning to do a thing correctly do you gain the freedom of choosing to do it incorrectly." Liberty

"It is better to keep silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt." Mark Twain

"How you mistake my fortunes; I am wealthy in my friends."
William Shakespeare

"Being born in a duck yard really does not matter, if only you are hatched from a swan's egg."
Hans Christian Anderson

"Every generation revolts againsts its fathers and makes friends with its grandfathers." Lewis Mumford (1931)

"We are the ancestors of generations not yet born."
Cherokee proverb

RENAISSANCE - "a garden of delights in a brutal world"

This photo was taken in July of this year at the Colorado Renaissance Festival in Larkspur.

Colorado is known for weird weather. I took this photo in my front yard the end of October.

What's New?

Right now my biggest personal news is of course, that finally after so many years of wanting to go back to the south, I am transferring to Arkansas next month! Yippee!!!

And for the first time in my life I'm actually excited about the inauguration of a president!

For those of you who haven't known me long enough to know and didn't believe me when I said I was a tree-hugger, here's proof.
