As I look back over the past year it seems that it's gone very fast. Last year I made a New Year's resolution, something I do not normally do. It was that I would be out of here by this New Year. Well maybe not quite, but it looks like it could be close. During that time I have become, as many of you know, obsessed with the political climate of our nation, I've spent a lot of time traveling both for work and play, and done some reading. Of course the reading is nothing new. I read the books of the LEFT BEHIND series and have thoroughly enjoyed them and recommend them highly. And of course, I have finally taken up the computer, and I'm glad that those of you who knew me before are finding it so amusing. I like my new toy. So? I've become way too serious! This year coming up I look forward to change, although with some apprehension. I am sure that my faith will once again be put to the test. I am equally sure that it will carry me through.
WE DON'T REMEMBER DAYS, WE REMEMBER MOMENTS. "Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute; if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things." Phillipians 4:8 "Only by learning to do a thing correctly do you gain the freedom of choosing to do it incorrectly." Liberty "It is better to keep silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt." Mark Twain "How you mistake my fortunes; I am wealthy in my friends." William Shakespeare "Being born in a duck yard really does not matter, if only you are hatched from a swan's egg." Hans Christian Anderson "Every generation revolts againsts its fathers and makes friends with its grandfathers." Lewis Mumford (1931) "We are the ancestors of generations not yet born."
