Riders In the Wind/ The Tower

This dream seems to have 3 very distinctive parts although all are somehow inter-related. The first part seems somehow different in quality. I was like invisible, as if a part of the air and watching myself from a distance. What I saw was a lady dressed in almost Victorian style - long dress (blue floral print I think) and a fancy hat with a bow tied under the chin - walking through a lot of brush and trees, but it seemed to have an orderly quality a little like a garden, but more wild. I could only see her above the waist. She seemed to be looking off in the distance. This quiet, picturesque image quickly faded and I was no longer an observer, but was suddenly thrust into the midst of what at first, seemed to be rapidly fluctuating movements of light and shadow. There was a wind that seemed to be increasing. It seemed to be early evening. The more I became a part of the din, the more I became aware that I was in the midst of a very large herd of wild horses. There was an electricity about it; a sense of disturbance like an impending storm. I was not aware of clothing. It was more like I was nearly invisible but with very long hair. It was like my "being" was my clothing.. It felt very natural there. Several times I felt myself merging with a horse - like I was one of them. I was still aware of the very long hair. There were clouds and trees and shadows, an occasional partially clear image, then images like film "negatives." It was very stirring, but not frightening in any way.
Then, some distance away, yet still amid the herd, I saw the image of a man who seemed much as I was. At first I thought he might be the one called Red Hawk, but he seemed to have a different presence about him. I watched as he too changed from a "negative" image to blending with the light and shadows and wind and horses. Occasionally I would catch a clear glimpse of a portion of his face. He too had very long hair. We seemed to have an urgent need to reach each other. We were somehow very connected and moved what little we could against the density of the herd and calling out to each other against the wind. I called out to him, "who are you?" What I heard, as I remember, was two words with each having a different tonal quality being carried on the wind, one seeming to respond to the other. "Ishutanaka." "Itoani." The words began to feel like a song - a part of the wind, and the magnetism between the man and I became more compelling. The words, when combined, seemed a masculine/feminine intonation.
The Tower - In this third segment of the dream I was again both the observer and the observed. I was leaning from the single, open window of a stark, lone tower in a dense forest. Again, I had very long hair. It seemed I was waiting expectantly for _________? Then, from the sky, he appeared as if one with a cloud and reached out to me. At first he carried me and then we both seemed to move and flow partly into and partly around one another merging with the clouds and the soft wind.

As I create my entries for each day, I'll also include pictures and other Web Gems to illustrate my points and to make the entries more fun to read.
